I love the oval iris-folding template and decided to use it as a 'picture frame'. Seeing that my friend, like myself, loves to crochet, I had to attach the crochet queen charm.

Ronell what a nice idea. Did your friend laugh about the charm? It's very cute :) So you crochet too? I have seen many people use small crocheted medallions on their cards these days and I wondered if you made any for that purpose? They have to be so fine!

I love the way the iris folding technique can be used for so many different cutout shapes. It always looks nice as a frame for a photo. I can also imagine using this shape as a Christmas card ornament. The possibilities open right up when you start thinking about it, don't they?

Thank you for sharing your special birthday card. Have a great day, hopefully with some crafting in it!
