Stampin' Up! holds great benefits for business people and paper crafters alike

Hi Susan,

I'm trying to start an invitation business from home but I'm having trouble finding bulk/wholesale paper that I can afford. Is there somewhere you recommend? I don't have resources available in my city so I have to go the internet route.

I hope you can help.

Lety

Hi Lety

Nice to hear from you and how exciting that you are starting your own invitation business! I would love to see some of your work. Please do come back and display some here for me when you get started.

Do you live in Australia? If you do, you may like to consider becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators purchase product at a discount and can earn other incentives (resulting in more discounts) as their business volume increases. Your products can be ordered online, in whatever volume you require, and they are delivered to your door by Australia Post.

Stampin' Up! has a great support site and the company holds Conventions, online training and Regional meetings where you can pick up wonderful ideas for making all kinds of papercraft projects. There is even a website for members where we share ideas. The products are very good quality and the service is very good too.

If you would like to check this idea out more, you can read more about it on my Stampin Up! website and we can chat further as you can contact me from that site too :) I would love to help you start your own business.

If you do not live in Australia, you can still check Stampin' Up! out in many other countries, such as the USA, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Japan and New Zealand. Just go to the Stampin' Up! website and select your country from the top right drop down menu. You can then search for a demonstrator in your area.

If you do not live in one of these countries you will not be able to contact Stampin' Up! and benefit from the discounts you would receive as a member. In that case, you could try searching for paper suppliers in your area. Many companies offer discounts on bulk orders, especially if you are a registered business owner.

If you have a stationery or scrapbook store near you, you could ask them who supplies them with cardstock. They may be willing to share their contacts with you. They may also see you as competition though especially if they already supply invitations, so bear that in mind when you are making your inquiries.

Let em know how you go!

All the very best!

Susan
