Serenity Prayer

by Tina L Janov
(San Bernardino, CA)

I have had this treasure in my family for as long as I can remember, it is an altered book.
It has been pasted open, painted gold. on one side is a picture of Jesus decoupaged and the other side is the serenity prayer... I plan to make other ones with other prayers, perhaps a blessing prayer like the blessing box on this site...you could put a picture of you and your friend and the blessing on the other page..
the possibilities are endless

God bless everyone during this Christmas season and may God keep us all safe......Tina

Hello Tina. Your altered book sounds beautiful. I wish I could see it! If you have a picture of it on your computer, you can upload it? Or email me the picture if you like and I will upload it for you.

You have some nice ideas about how to use the Blessing Box, too. Isn't paper crafting wonderful? You can use ideas to create so much and you can take an idea and run with it till you have something that is so special....

May you and your family have a happy and holy Christmas.

Susan

Looking for this forever!
by: Anonymous

We have had several Serenity Prayer decoupaged books with a picture of Jesus in our family for a long time and have been in search of more. Where can we find them or do you know someone that will make them?? This description sounds exactly like the ones we have.

How nice to have found a clue to what you are looking for at last!

I am not sure where this one came from but hopefully the author of the page will read your comment and get back to you with a comment of her own.

All the best

Susan
