Valentine's Day Card

by Judy Oliveira
(El Cajon, CA USA)

Cupcake Valentine Greeting

Cupcake Valentine Greeting

I made several different patterns of Valentine cards for my friends and family. This was my favorite style that I made. I used plain white card stock and envelops.
I stamped the background of the card with pink ink scattered hearts first then with black ink butterflies on top. I glued dark red ribbon on top and the bottom of the card. Then I added a cupcake and two heart embellishments. Inside the card I stamped the pink hearts and the black butterflies, one on top of the other, in the corners of the card and I stamped the words I LOVE YOU! I used the same stamps on the outside of my envelope too to coordinate with my card.

****************************

Judy, your card looks good enough to eat! I like the stamped pattern you have created and the fact that you decorated the inside of the card too.

So often I leave the inside blank and that means I missed an opportunity to stamp and make the card extra special for whoever is receiving it.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day. It's getting close now. I hope everyone is ready!

Happy Stampin'

Susan

Very Cute
by: Jenna

I thought your cupcake card was adorable. I love that you used two different stamps in two different colors. I wonder how it would work to use the same stamp in two colors? One idea for this card would be two only stamp the section inside and outside the ribbon and leave the top and bottom blank.
Nice work!
