Hi Susan

Just wanted to make some Christmas Cards for Aussie Troops and was wondering about packaging.

Do you want them put individually in cellophane bags or do you have another packaging method.

Hi Penny

Thank you for your offer to send some Cards for our Troops Drive in 2019. You are wonderful!

As for packaging our cards, I do like to put mine with an envelope, then package them in individual cellophane bags, then put them all in a large ziplock bag.

We usually re-package the cards we receive and try to put 50 cards in a ziplock bag, but sometimes that number won't fit in the box we are sending so we change the number. We write the number of cards on the outside of every ziplock bag.

If it isn't too much trouble, do use the cellophane bags for each card.

If you could then put them in a ziplock bag and write how many are in the bag, it would save us a little time with repackaging.

It also helps for us to know what kind of cards are in the bag - Christmas, all Occasion, Birthdays etc.

Ziplock bags will help keep our cards from getting water damaged while on their way to their destination. Sometimes packages get wet when Australia Post is delivering them.

I appreciate your willingness to help with the Drive and am glad you asked that question! It might help others who send cards to us.

Enjoy Cardmaking for the Troops!
