Stampin' Up! Scrapbook page using Designer Series Paper

Hi,

I wanted to know if you had any luck finding a way to get your own scrapbook papers printed.

I bought some digital scrapbook paper from an Etsy shop without realizing how hard it would be to find places to print them. The print shops I contacted priced each page as a large photo which was ridiculously expensive.

Were you able to find a better alternative?

Wide Format Printers
by: Susan

Hi Wendy

Thank you for contacting me. Yes, I agree it is very hard to find good solutions for printing your own scrapbook paper. No one shared any further ideas after the last person asked the same question on PaperCraftCentral, but I have had a few thoughts on the subject since then.

First of all, new kinds of Wide Format Printers have come out, which do allow people to print 12" x 12" scrapbook paper in their own homes with ink jet printers. I have not invested in one of these yet but I did find a page on the web where a number of the different printers are compared by PC News. If this link does not work for you in your country, you could try searching for The Best Wide Format Printers.

I also found a tutorial by Everyday Digital Scrapbooking that shows how to print papers using an A4 format printer. I think you would have to join two pieces of paper together after they are printed to get this to work, but you can indeed print on both sides of your paper by using this tutorial.

If you live in Australia, there is a site that offers online scrapbook paper printing. They say they are the cheapest Scrapbook Paper printers in Australia. You can find them at ScrapbookPrinting.com.au

Other than these ideas, I wonder if any other readers have more ideas? If so, Wendy and I would love to hear them!

By the way, none of the businesses and reviews are associated with me or my Stampin' Up! business 😊

Let me know if you find a solution that suits you, Wendy, especially if one of these ideas helps!

Happy scrappin'
