Some Cards for Troops sent last year

Hi

I was just wondering when making these cards do they have to be a certain size? Square cards are they OK.

Any other specifications I should know?

Thank you

Kerry

Cards for Troops Specifications
by: PaperCraftCentral Susan

Hi Kerry

First of all, thank you for considering making Cards for the Troops! Every card is much appreciated by our deployed military personnel.

When making cards for troops, the only specifications are:

  1. That they be handmade
  2. That they have an envelope

Square cards are definitely allowed, as are any other shapes, as long as you can provide an envelope for the card.

I guess I would bear in mind that the cards need to be sent through Australia Post once they arrive in Australia. Any card you would make for sending through our postal system with an envelope qualifies.

I also have to send the cards in a 2kg Australia Post bx, so they need t be of a size that will fit comfortably in one of those boxes. I put some pictures of the boxes above. :)

You can read more about past Drives and see pictures of cards made by people from around Australia for the Drives at the Cards for Troops page.

Thank you again for being willing to take part in the Drive. Generous crafters like yourself are a blessing!

Happy card making
